LUCIO is a mirror and light brought together in a single sculptural piece, designed to create warmth, depth and atmosphere.
The concept draws inspiration from the hearth and the role it has long played as a natural focal point in the home. LUCIO reinterprets that idea for contemporary spaces through the interplay of form, reflection and warm backlighting.
During the day, its mirrors reflect light, color and movement from the surrounding space. As daylight fades, the backlighting emerges, giving the piece a different character and bringing a warmer feeling to the room.
LUCIO traces its origins to London in 1999, when Siggi Anton was studying design.
One of the spaces that left a lasting impression on him was Home on Leicester Square, a newly opened club where retro-futurist design, mirrors, light, geometric forms, sound and movement were brought together to create a cohesive experience.
The inspiration was not the nightlife itself, but the way these different elements worked together and shaped how people felt within the space.
It led to a simple question: could that sense of atmosphere be taken with you and recreated in a space of your own?
That idea became LUCIO.
From the beginning, the aim has been to create a piece that brings greater warmth, depth and atmosphere to a space without requiring major changes.
